Alison’s passion for nutrition started at a young age; she wanted to improve her own nutrition and the nutrition of those around her and was always tinkering around with recipes to increase the fibre content or make it healthier in some way!
Alison started off as a Dietitian in the NHS, a typical route after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics. However, she soon realised that her passion was for presenting and sharing how easy it is to feel great and optimise health and wellbeing through nutrition and lifestyle, and left a full time position, at the age of 23 to start doing just that.
Alison’s passion and enthusiasm for nutrition attracts requests for return presentations amongst her portfolio of individual, public and corporate clients.
Alison Clark MD, who is herself ex-NHS and continues to work for it on a consultancy basis, gained a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Surrey. Her expertise led her to later offer her services to some of the ‘big name’ High Street companies such as M&S, Del Monte and Danone. She has also worked alongside organisations e.g. The Prince’s Trust, Diabetes UK, Coeliac UK and is an accredited trainer for the Royal Society for Public Health.
